I am an accredited and experienced BACP Counsellor/Supervisor. As a member of BACP I am bound by their Ethical Code of Practice and regularly supervised.

I have experience of working with a diverse range of clients, offering face to face counselling to individuals on a long term and short term basis, covering a range of emotional issues such as depression, anger, stress, anxiety, grief/loss, bereavement.

Within my practice I combine various counselling approaches (Psychodynamic, CBT and Humanistic) to suit each individual client, offering a supportive, encouraging and safe environment for you to explore the issues that you present.  This may include looking at unresolved past issues; changing patterns in behaviour and thinking, whilst yet remaining focused in the present.  With this I aim to help you work towards greater awareness and insight of yourself and your environment to facilitate a change.

 As well as private practice, I work as a NHS Primary Care Counsellor within Hampshire- IPT (Interpersonal Psychotherapist) trained and accredited.  I am also trained to work with PTSD/trauma issues using EMDR and am supervised for this.  I have also set up and facilitated the 'Managing Anger course' within a NHS practice. 

My experience covers work as a Student Counsellor at a University setting, a Bereavement Counsellor at St.Christopher’s Hospice (London) and Co-facilitated Bereavement Training for Counsellors.   MIND-the Mental Health charity (working with issues ranging suicide, self- harm, personality disorders and stress and anxiety). Rape and Sexual abuse helpline volunteer and as a volunteer with individuals with mental health within a pastoral centre.
